Joseph Hammer

Joe is currently Senior Vice President, Business Development, at United Premium Foods where he is responsible for overseeing multiple internal brands, expanding partner relationships, and driving increased revenue.  Prior to joining United Premium Foods, Joe served as Executive Vice President, Business Development at AlefEdge, which is focused on Enterprise Mobile Connectivity.  Joe was responsible for strategy and business development of Alef’s many partners and alliances.  

In a previous role, Joe directed global alliances at Nokia, successfully fostering joint solutions in several areas including AI, AR/VR, Sports & Entertainment, Edge Cloud Computing and IoT.  He has over 20 years of experience in the cloud, telecommunications, and electronics industries managing key customers and partners such as Microsoft, Intel, IBM, HPE, Verizon, US Cellular, Vodafone, and AT&T.

Joe retired from the Air National Guard as a Brigadier General after serving over 23+ years in the USAF and Connecticut Air National Guard.  He is a decorated combat veteran and commanded of the 103rd Air Operations Group and 103rd Air Control Squadron.  He has extensive leadership experience from deployments all over the world including Afghanistan, Iraq, Colombia, Ecuador and Italy. 

Greg Jarman

Greg is a technology executive with broad experience in all aspects of service provider operations including R&D, deployment, business development, project management, support, and financial processes.  He is experienced in deploying networks using fiber, wireless and copper-based technologies.  He has founded several broadband companies over the years and grown his own consultancy business in the wireless and IoT marketplace.  In addition, he currently consults with Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN) to research and develop innovative ways of deploying broadband and IoT services.

He started his career as a consultant and software developer. He designed and developed software for the Department of Defense, Northrup, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Martin Marietta, and the State of Indiana.  Greg has been a pioneer in providing Internet to rural communities since 1994. He was the first Internet Service Provider in his home county when he started Dial-Up services that same year. Greg then migrated to providing DSL services and finally to fixed wireless and fiber connectivity services for residential and commercial applications beginning in 1998. Greg was instrumental in the award of $52.3M CAF II funding to upgrade and expand broadband services in Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.  He has worked with service providers to launch IoT services in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.  Greg has served on various industry committees including Ivy Tech Agricultural Advisory, WISPA, and USTelecom.

Thomas Magg

Tom is Founder and President of Community Broadband Networks, which is focused on closing the digital divide by bringing internet to the unserved using next generation fixed wireless technology.  

He has over 30 years' experience in delivering innovative solutions to the telecommunications industry with a focus on evolving technologies, machine learning, and customer experience. Tom has held a wide range of technical management positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, DAX Technologies, Spirent Communications, and Community Broadband Networks. As CTO of DAX Technologies, Tom led the start-up to develop an innovative product focused on the emerging Customer Experience Management (CEM) market from the concept stage through product development, market introduction and worldwide deployments. This was followed by a successful exit to Spirent for $37M. As CTO CEM at Spirent, Tom focused on expanding Spirent’s position as an industry leader and innovator in delivering solutions to enable service providers to improve customer loyalty and revenues through managing service quality and customer experience.

Krishna Murti

Krishna is a technology executive with over 30 years experience driving innovation by leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions at commercial scale.  Extensive systems engineering experience coupled with strong product and business development skills as well as an action-oriented approach have enabled Krishna to successfully deliver a diverse set of products in both enterprise and consumer markets spanning data modems, voice and video compression, echo cancellation, communications protocols, wireless base-stations, network management software, wireless terminals and 3G/4G cellular base-station chipsets.

Krishna has extensive experience in leading small, medium (~100) and large (350+) teams in both startup environments (elemedia, Flarion) and large multinational organizations (AT&T Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, Qualcomm).  He has successfully set-up and led off-shore development teams and supported international network deployments for wireless data services.  He has excellent collaboration, team building and partnering skills and is tenacious in setting and delivering on aggressive milestones.

David Weiss

Dave is currently a Senior Development Manager in the Lifecycle Service Assurance business at Spirent Communications where he leads the group delivering their next generation continuous network assurance product.  Prior to this role Dave managed the team delivering customer experience and analytics solutions to a major telecommunications company used by hundreds of network technicians.

Before joining Spirent, Dave had a 25-year consulting business delivering end-to-end enterprise-level software solutions to a variety of customers over a diverse group of industries including banking, derivatives trading, telecommunications, manufacturing, distributing, and supply chain management.  During that period, he acquired expertise in business analysis, software development, product management, and operations.  Dave has a degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
